Reviews and Ratings
This hotel truly made our stay in Japan unforgettable. The warm and inviting atmosphere created by the family-run vibe was remarkable. The service was exceptional, making it easy for us to navigate our ski trips. While it’s a bit further from the village, it's incredibly convenient for beginners hitting the slopes. One minor downside is that some areas felt slightly dated, but the charm and welcoming spirit definitely made up for it.
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience, thanks to the incredible service and warm atmosphere provided by Joe and Emily. They really made us feel at home during our snowboarding trip with convenient transportation options. The rooms, while comfortable, might be a bit dated but provide ample space for relaxation. The dining experiences were top-notch with large portions, though the breakfast could use a few more choices. Overall, the value for money is undeniable, especially given the excellent onsen available.
I spent a week at this hotel during New Year’s and had mixed feelings. While the onsen was a nice touch and provided a relaxing atmosphere, the location was quite inconvenient, especially in cold weather. The breakfast left much to be desired, but the family running the hotel was kind. I wouldn’t recommend it for those wanting to explore the area much, but there were moments of comfort.
I'm really glad I chose this hotel for my stay. The stunning views from up the hill were absolutely breathtaking, and the onsen baths were a real treat after a long day of skiing. The staff made a genuine effort to help me out, which truly enhanced my experience. However, the room could have been more spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast options were a bit repetitive during my week-long stay.
Staying at Hakuba Highmount Hotel was a truly memorable experience, with exceptional service from the staff who treated us like family. The rooms were warm and offered beautiful views, though the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The hotel's location was convenient for skiing and dining options, making it a great choice for a ski holiday. However, the intimate bathrooms might be a downside for some.
